His Royal Highness, Prince of Al-Qassim Region - Chairman of Qassim Urban Observatory Council, launches a report on Buraidah urban environment transformations during the Covid-19 pandemic

Today, His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal Bin Mishaal Bin Saud Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region - Chairman of Qassim Urban Observatory Council, launched a report on Buraidah urban environment transformations during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This was in the meeting held today, Tuesday 10/13/1442 AH, 5/25/2021, in His Highness office, that in presence of His Excellency Qassim Region Secretary.

This report was prepared based on His Highness' permanent directives on the importance of addressing the risks facing our societies and providing up-to-date data on the changes and challenges facing us.

This report is one of the distinguished qualitative outputs of the Qassim urban observatory, which emphasizes the important of the urban observatory in monitoring the transformations of the urban and social environment and addressing the challenges facing the community.

The report is a first effort to monitor the changes in the environment and community in Buraidah regarding the Covid-19 pandemic through five main axes (the economic aspects of individuals, built environment, education, health, residential environment, non-residential environment).

The report provides efforts documentation of both the Kingdom at the national level and Qassim region to reduce the pandemic effects, as well as current or future directions.

The report ends with a set of future expectations and recommendations for each of the development sectors.
