- Al-Asyah Urban Growth Boundary to 1450AH : The urban boundary total area of Al-Asyah which approved by Ministerial Resolution No. (157) on 11/5/1428 AH is (4532.07 AH), includes the main urban zone of the city, in addition to four other villages (Fetile - Tarif - Al-Baroud - Al-Tanomah) without centers, villages and sub-urban areas shown on the map below.
The Built Up Area of Al-Asyah city takes the Linear City shape where it is distributed on both sides of the main traffic axis (King Abdulaziz Road, King Fahd Road), the old Built Up Area also overlaps with the new urban areas.
- Characteristics and urban components of Al-Asyah City: Based on studies in 1439 AH, Vacant blots constitute the largest proportion of the urban zone which is (23.6) square kilometers and a percentage (52.1%), while the percentage of residential and mixed residential uses was (7.96%) and public services (3.88%).
