Study Area

- Uyun Al-Jiwa Urban Growth Boundary to 1450AH : The urban boundary total area of Uyun Al-Jiwa which approved by Ministerial Resolution No. (157) on 11/5/1428 AH is (2033.96 HA), includes the main urban zone of the city in addition to (Ghaf Al-Jawa - Rawd Al-Jawa) without villages shown on the map below.

The Built Up Area of Uyun Al-Jiwa city developed along the two main roads, King Fahd Road and King Abdulaziz Road, towards the south and southwest direction.

- Characteristics and urban components of Uyun Al-Jiwa City: Based on studies in 1439 AH, Vacant blots constitute the largest proportion of the urban zone which is (11.03) square kilometers and a percentage (54.25%), while the percentage of residential and mixed residential uses was (6.38%), and services and public utilities (2.13%).
