Buraidah Urban Observatory is a specialized center that works on collecting, analyzing and producing urban indicators to be used in preparing, following up and evaluating urban development plans and policies at all levels. Moreover, It monitors the urban status and feeds the decision-making process with information in all urban development fields.

The urban observatory started its work more than 10 years ago (eleven production cycle), distinguished by following the methodologies of various urban indicators, which led to increase the number of indicators from 84 indicators in the first cycle to 260 urban indicators in the eleventh cycle, an increase of 210%.
