Study Area

It is the Urban Growth Boundary of Buraidah city for the year 1450 AH, in addition to (Al-Basr - Al-Qar'a - Terminal - Al-Hidaya).

- Buraidah Urban Growth Boundary to 1450AH : It includes areas of planned and unplanned lands and is bounded on the north by hills and rugged areas, on the south (areas of special nature - industrial zone - regional services), on the east sand dunes and agricultural areas, and on the west with agricultural areas, in addition to urban extensions of Al-Basr, and Melida villages. The area of this stage is 29793.78 hectares, which is equivalent to 15.1% of the study area, thus the total area of the two stages is 87,020.49 hectares.


- The development boundary of Buraidah city: includes all areas located in the north-east and north-west, in addition to all villages and urban communities, It also includes all areas of regional and national services in the south. Buraidah development boundary shares with the northern development boundary of Unaizah city. These spaces are considered as reserved lands for future development. The total area within the development boundary is 110183.2 hectares.
